Day 4: Historic Panjim City and Old Goa

Pick up your souvenirs here, go to local markets, buy the famous cashew seeds, and possibly grab a glass of the local Vinicola wine. Much of the real Goa is seen inside its buildings and in the hinterland, away from the coastal area. In the morning you’ll visit the Panjim City. The oldest monument in Panjim is the Adil Shah’s Palace, and enjoy panoramic views of Panjim. The afternoon’s tour takes you to Miramar Beach and on to Dona Paula. The Dona Paula Bay overlooks Marmagoa, the largest natural harbor in India, and the Arabian Sea. On the return you’ll drive down through Fountainhes to Old Goa, the heartland of ancient Christianity. See the bustling city of Mapusa, noted for its colorful Friday market. In the evening drop back to hotel and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 5: Depart Goa
After breakfast, check-out approx 12:00 PM from the hotel and transfer to the airport or railway station or bus stands for your onward journey.
